Sketching: Trying to get out of the box, but only houses are coming up...

So I'm trying to create things less iconographic and more minimalistic... at least some of the time... but I keep refering back to houses, nests and other home-like features... man this is harder than I thought!! Baby steps... baby steps...

I kinda think your road and home themes are some of the loveliest aspects of your jewelry & sculpture work. I know, it's good to push yourself, but good, too, to celebrate the haunting important stuff that doesn't let you be...right?

The BlankaDay Collective is a supportive daily practice community for artists who could use a casual venue to keep them producing. * agree to abide by a fuzzily-defined code of conduct that mostly involves being nice to other people, of which Alissa is the final arbiter, and acknowledge that Alissa reserves the right to revoke your membership if you do not comply with the fairly permissive but completely subjective standards in her head. (ie don't be all "that sux, beeyotch" on anyone, don't be dropping child porn here, don't be getting all bigoted about race or gender or religion or orientation all over the place, and we're prolly cool.)
