This morning I went walking through fall sunshine, wind, and golden leaves raining down, pushing a stroller containing a sleeping toddler, for nearly two hours. The weather was crisp but warm, the light radiating off the falling leaves and sometimes even swirling into the stroller but completely failing to make the sleepy toddler even stir. The streets were quiet on a Monday midday, the only sound the wind in the stiffening papery leaves.
