Sometimes plans turn out ok.

Today I plan to write a poem
(In plain and rhyming couplets)
A verse to ease what's left broken,
And take away discomfort;

Nature's cruel and folks are wrong
(Velvet fists and iron gloves)
But if you can brave the madding throng,
There's always hope.

And love.

  1. <3 this. Love the inconsistent slant rhyme, too, just enough to hold the form without easing the discomfort of messiness (like life). Makes me happy.
