Hello World.

This blog is intended as a supportive daily practice community for artists who could use a casual venue to keep them producing. Philosophically, this is the equivalent of morning pages, whether it's morning sketches or morning poems or morning comics or morning photos or plays or videos--the primary thing is to get work out there in the world daily, not to worry too much about quality, and to check in on each other to keep each other going.

If you'd like to join our community, send mail to foolissa at gmail dot com. Joining means you:

• get an author account on this blog, to post your work
• have an intention to post fresh work here daily
• retain your copyright on anything you post here, and can take it down/edit whenever you want
• aren't averse to occasionally commenting on your fellow artists' work, so they know someone is out there looking
• agree to abide by a fuzzily-defined code of conduct that mostly involves being nice to other people, of which I am the final arbiter, and acknowledge that I reserve the right to revoke your membership if you do not comply with the fairly permissive but completely subjective standards in my head. (ie don't be all "that sux, beeyotch" on anyone, don't be dropping child porn here (but if consenting adult porn happens to be your art, that's fine by me), don't be getting all bigoted about race or gender or religion or orientation all over the place, and we're prolly cool.)
